A Free Password Manager for College Students

Share

When kids go off to college, they are faced with a whole new level of independence and personal responsibility. College students are among the consumers living most of their lives online, and the number of online accounts they create and use for everything from schoolwork to personal finance and their social life only grows.

College is also a time when bad password habits can form. Through our survey of consumer password habits earlier this year, we found that younger consumers, age 18-24, are the most likely to use memory as their primary way of managing passwords (74 percent of males and 76 percent of females).

As a result, we’re very pleased to offer a one-year subscription to Password Boss Premium at no charge to college students to safely login to websites, access their accounts and shop online. Students who have a school e-mail address ending in .edu are eligible.

How to Redeem

  1. Download Password Boss for Windows. Password Boss Premium is installed by default with a 30 day trial.
  2. When creating your new Password Boss account, use your school e-mail address ending in .edu.
  3. Once we confirm your account registration, we will activate your free one-year premium subscription with features such as online backups, 2-step authentication and unlimited, secure password sharing.
  4. The offer ends September 30, 2015.
